So, after months of everyone asking when we were going to do it, we’re excited to announce that we finally did! Michael and I got all dressed up in wedding attire and… tried modeling! 😉 I was online looking for models one day and I came across a post looking for models to be in a wedding inspiration shoot and I thought , “Hey, why not, modeling might be fun” and asked Michael if he thought it would be fun, and he said, “NO!”, so I signed us up. Okay, that’s actually not exactly how the story went. It’s not hard to talk Michael into doing any kind of creative project. We both had a lot of fun!
The shoot was 1920s inspired (my favorite era!) and I got to wear a gorgeous Sarah Janks dress from Avenia Bridal (I worked hard to get that dress. I had to have it!) She’s one of my favorite bridal designers, and the dress was perfect for the 1920s theme. My hair and makeup was done by Tiffany Johnson. If anyone is looking for a hair and makeup artist, she is amazing! My hair was so accurate to the 1920s finger waves, which is hard to do by the way. This girl knows what she’s doing, and on top of that she is just charmingly sweet and fun to work with. The flowers were perfect, and done by Flowers on Main, and the adorable desserts were by Swirly Girls Bakery. And of course, all of this was coordinated and shot by Megan Rose Bingham who is an absolute delight to work with, I was so impressed with her work getting everything set up and she is very friendly, positive and has such an up-beat personality, it’s easy to feel at ease with her which is such an important quality in a photographer. Check out her website to see more of her work!
